Our Founder
BJ Kays, founder and lead technical consultant at Coating Edge Solutions.Mr. Kays has 25 years industry experience in roles ranging from project management, applications engineering, technical service, and sales. He commissioned over 20 coating lines and participated in countless process development trials. He continues to develop and teach coating process fundamentals through seminars and hands on training.BJ has been a guest speaker at many industry events such as: The Battery Show, International Battery Seminar & Exhibit, the Battery Innovation Center, University of Warwick (WMG), Coating Tech Institute, and ARC (formerly AIMCAL).He is also a published author in the highly rated Chemical Reviews Journal: From Materials to Cell: State-of-the-Art and Prospective Technologies for Lithium-Ion Battery Electrode Processing.Contributing co-author to the book, Processing and Manufacturing of Electrodes for Lithium-Ion Batteries, published by IET, edited by Jianlin Li and Congrul Jin.
